Hello,

I'm a Lectuer at the Centre of English and Additional Languages (CEAL) and Coordinator of English Language Support Service (ELSS), Lingnan University, Hong Kong SAR. My research interests include technology-enhanced language learning, chatbot-based learning, game-based learning, and self-regulated learning.

I have published 43 papers/book chapters, including 28 SCI/SSCI indexed papers and a receiver of the 2025 Dorothy Chun Award for Best Journal Article in Language Learning & Technology. My papers have been published on Computers in Human Behavior​, Computer Assisted Language Learning, Language Learning & Technology, System, Interactive Learning Environments, Innovation in Language Learning and Teaching, Education and Information Technologies, Australasian Journal of Educational Technology, ELT Journal, PLoS One, RELC Journal, Sustainability, Assessing, and Journal of Computing in Higher Education.

 

I serve as an Assistant Editor with Computers and Education: Artificial Intelligence and Computers & Education: Artificial Intelligence. I also served as the Guest Editor for the Special Issue "Pedagogical Design and XR Affordances in Education" for Computers & Education: X Reality (the “Special Issue”).

I serve/served a reviewer for over 27 established journals, including Computers & Education, Computer Assisted Language Learning, Interactive Learning Environments, System, and Educational Technology & Society.

 

I'm also a Deputy chair of the Doctoral Student Forum in GCCCE 2023 and the PC member of BESC (2022, 2023, 2024), GCCCE (2019, 2025, 2026) and ICCE (2019).
